Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real condition with no cure

China had a more “competent” response to the coronavirus, the founder and editor of Business Insider (who incidentally received a lifetime ban from the securities markets for insider trading – that’s why he’s a “journalist” now) says.

This is the same China who pretended the virus did not exist for months?

The same China that declined international aid in treating patients because they did not want to let other governments see their situation?

The same China that removed doctors from some of the worst affected areas?

The same China that had a health care facility they scrambled to build literally collapse and kill dozens of people?

Yeah, that’s totally better than a country that immediately closed the borders, passed bipartisan legislation providing billions in aid, opened up academic and regional hospitals to testing, and is holding routine meetings with industry leaders. Communist China is totally better in a crisis, y’all.

This is my favorite reaction, however, from the man who confuses his wife and his sister:

Imagine if Baby Boomer liberals like Biden were around during the Great Depression:

FDR – We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Baby Boomer liberals today – Ugh, will you shut up with that calmness and rationality already! Seriously, just stop talking! That’s an awful thing to say about a president, but everyone needs to sell all the stocks and we should all eat dirt sandwiches because we are all going to die. Look at me, I’m a true leader!

It is absolutely stunning how irrational and antisocial the left in America has become. Truly, if these Einsteins are ever back in power, this country is fucked. They are toxic.

    1. I am not an FDR fan by any means – I would argue that FDR is the main person to blame for Hitler’s rise to power, in fact. But the general message that a leader should not feed panics is timeless and beyond politics.
