I have been working on building up the new garden in the backyard this evening. Many new plants are in the ground with many more to follow, which I will list in some future post.
But two memorable things happened today:
(1) Elise and I bought a Valencia orange tree for the backyard. I already have a mango tree and two banana trees. Now I need an avocado tree and I’m good. (Plus if the financial system melts down, I can just sell avocados on the black market. A girl’s gotta hedge.)
(2) While we were outside, someone flew very low overhead in an antique bi-plane. As the chap made it directly over our property, he did a series of barrel rolls. Not going to lie, I jumped and cheered loudly.
